Volunteering
An individual's donation of time is one of the most generous gifts of all and we are lucky to have so many friends willing to lend a hand as we provide services throughout the communities we serve.
Please think about joining us because your donation of time, talent and expertise can in turn help someone become more self-reliant. Now that's something to feel good about! Your volunteering helps us to continue providing services to people with disabilities for which we are a recognized leader in the community.
We have an array of volunteer opportunities ranging from one-time projects to those that are ongoing.
Group Projects: Group projects are ideal for key clubs, church groups or businesses who want to make a difference in our community. Our annual Girl Scout Donation Drive, Good Turns Day, collects thousands of pounds of donations annually and in turn the participants attend Goodwill programs to improve disability awareness.
We are always looking for groups to help with:
- Spring and Fall Residential Clean-Ups
- Donation Drives
- Party with a Purpose
- Annual Golf Classic
- Good Turns Day
Individual Projects: Individual projects are ideal for people looking to do a one-time project or an ongoing one.
There are many individual projects such as:
- Volunteering at an annual event
- Volunteering your time at one of our retail stores
- Volunteering at our Corporate Office
