Helping men, women, and teens with disabilities or other barriers achieve their employment goals is central to our mission. Goodwill's Employment Specialists are skilled in helping job seekers identify work goals and finding the job they want. To access job opportunities, we work closely with hundreds of businesses (Employer Services), learning about the job types, turnover problems, and training needs. |

Some of the folks who use our employment services are people with disabilities
such as deafness, physical impairments, developmental disabilities, or brain
injuries. Goodwill also helps welfare recipients gain employment. Our approach
here involves traditional
Job Development Services, such as career exploration,
on the job assessment, skill training, job placement, and on the job training.
Some individuals, once placed in a job, benefit from an ongoing level of
support. We provide
Supported Employment options for these folks through
individual placements and staffing contacts.
